Cold weather means indoor competitions and all weather surfaces so all the horses get a good dose of show jumping in the winter. Last week Katey went out twice: to Crofton Manor on Wednesday and to West Wilts on Friday.
At Crofton Stracciatella went well and had a clear round, Annaliese had two clears and claimed a 2nd place in her class and Imbroglio flew round and was in 1st place–with quite a few to go–when they headed home.
At West Wilts Dunlewey Red Kite and Schokolade both went fantastically with two clear rounds , coming first and second in their class–the pony, having a slightly more accurate time, just pipping the chestnut to the win.
Katey headed back to Crofton the following week with Imbroglio and Persiflage both of who were on good form and jumped well.
