Persiflage is a 10 year old Anglo Arab stallion.  The Anglo Arab breed combines the speed and scope of the Thoroughbred with the lightness of movement and the toughness and agility of the Arab.
Persiflage is an example of the successful combination of these equine merits.   His sire is the famous Thoroughbred Primitive Rising.  You may recognise the impressive free shoulder action of Primitive Rising when you see Persiflage trot out.    The dam of Persiflage is an Arab mare from the Biddesden Stud and traces to the same maternal line as the eventer Tamarillo, stalwart of the British Team,  who came from this stud.

Persiflage has covered mares in parallel with his competition career and has some progeny already in competition at Novice level.  He should provide the special merits of the Anglo Arab breed to mares  needing quality, agility and toughness as well as his light extravagant movement.
Persiflage has been competing in British Eventing and won his class at Dauntsey Park last year so he is established at Intermediate level (with 29 points).  He is a keen and agile jumper and a good cross country horse.      He did clear rounds over three difficult courses in 2011  -  at Barbury Castle, at Hartpury and at Ardingly.  He also did a clear in the testing Show Jumping at the Hartpury (two star).
   His gallop is also impressive.
